Why I like being a Gladiator:
“We have a lot of teams to play against.  People are nice and patient.  They have great parties and trips.”
Outside of Gladiators:
“I like to go to Wonderland, watch Disney movies and shows. I like to play video games with my friends.”

Why I like being a Gladiator:
“It gives me the opportunity to play hockey, the game I have loved since I started playing at 3.5 years old.  I made new friends and love the coaches.  I love going to tournaments. “
Outside of Gladiators:
“I work part time at McDonald’s.  I play outdoor and indoor soccer, exercise (treadmills, weights), swim, play video games and spend time with my family.”

“I like playing and practicing for exercise.  I like being a part of a group that feels like family. I love the coaches.”
Outside of Gladiators:
“I watch old time sitcoms. I love everything with hockey, basetball, soccer.  I love music and being with friends and family.”

Why I like being a Gladiator:
It’s fun and the team players are great people.  We have great coaches.
Outside of Gladiators:
“I work for Revitasize. I’m also on the Special Olympics York South swim team.  I play floor hockey and baseball and curl in the winter.  I do track and field and baseball in the summer.  I also do lawn bowling the summer if I’m not at our cottage. 
I like shovelling snow in the winter and raking leaves at home and at the cottage.  
I like to see all the construction vehicles and trucks when we go on road trips.
I like to play sports games, car racing games and farm games on my PS4.

“I enjoy being with my friends, teammates and coaches, especially Coach Dan. It is a good group to play with.  The coaches teach me new skills and I like scoring goals.  I also love to go to tournaments and have fun in the bus.“

“I go to a day program, and work part time at Fortinos.  I like to play bocce, play on my playstation and watch all sports on tv.”

“I go to a day program 2-3 times a week.  I go out with my friends and also facetime my friends.  I like to play on my iPad and do diamond painting projects.”

“I have day programs to keep me busy.  I also write raps and create halloween props year round.”

“Being part of a team, these are my people.  Going through tough practices, and sharing jokes in the locker room. It’s a team sport.”
Outside of Gladiators:
“I go to Community Living Day Program.  I bowl Monday night in Richmond Hill. I enjoy being around my niece and nephews and like going to the mall shopping.”

“I like being part of the team because I enjoy hockey and like my coaches and team mates.“

“I play basketball and I love to play golf with my Dad and Brother.  I like playing video games, watching sports and following teams.  I work with dogs and cats at a pet groomer.”

Why I like being a Gladiator:
“Hockey is my passion!  I like to play hard and do my best.  I like seeing my teammates.”
Outside of Gladiators:
“I volunteer at Cummer Lodge LTC home.  In winter I swim and curl; in summer I play soccer, golf and lawn-bowl.  I love sports!  I like to see movies, eat out and travel.  My last trip was to Vietnam and Cambodia.”

“I play shinny ice hockey when I’m outside of the Gladiators hockey. I also play tennis and go to the cottage to sunbathe and swim, kayak and stand up paddleboarding in the summer.  I also listen to music.”
